About LWW

I was only 13 years old in 1964 and had never heard of a life coach. Back then if I wasn't listening to the Beatles, my curiosity about spirituality and an interest in how others experience life had me thinking that I wanted to be a minister. I love people. That was my number 1 career choice. After my second church, financial realities had me return to school. I graduated at the top of my class seeking employment as a computer programmer. I went through a few jobs as an office manager and a data processing manager. But the work that excited my passion more than anything else was working with people as a teacher. I taught them how to use computer software, taught classes in time management and it was becoming obvious that I was not really a techno-geek at heart but rather I was a people person. So I went back to church and accepted a position for 9 years as a worship leader. I loved the music. I also began studying and teaching on the topic of human emotion. My abilities, and interests became increasingly focused on personal development, self-management and relationships.

I knew that working with people was my major interest. I returned to college (again), this time getting a degree in Human Development from SUNY Binghamton and upon graduation, I have pursued being a people person with a passion, especially helping others understand how they can blossom more fully as themselves. I am a life coach. It is not just what I do it is who I am. That is why I launched Living With Wisdom.

I have found that wisdom is more than just useful independent critical thinking. Wisdom is engaging in loving and respectful relationships with others including those I agree with and those I do not. I did not invent wisdom. I have been stretched and enlarged through friendships with ministers, psychologists, sociologists, philosophers, social workers, and business owners as well as "ordinary" people who have over time simply developed great common sense. Although I will never have all the answers I have learned to take responsibility for how I invest my life into ideas and relationships. My best resource will continue to be valuable people such as you. For me, wisdom is not a level to be attained, its more a process and lifestyle that when embraced promotes more meaningful outcomes and loves life. Helping others in this way is what LWW is all about.
